Freelance Design

ATA (Advanced Textiles Association)

In 2023, I supported ATA with event design projects, including T-shirts, stickers, and web graphics. I worked within their established brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all materials.

Discovery Kitchen

I designed two new logos for a client’s startup concepts: Discovery Kitchens and Flavor Smoke & Flames. The client provided rough ideas, and I developed a range of logo options based on their vision. They selected the two showcased below. For the Discovery Kitchens logo, I also created a useful and versatile pattern for their marketing materials.

Soccer Memory Book

I volunteered to design the end-of-year memory book for my daughter’s soccer team. This project involved coordinating with coaches and parents to collect information and photos, attending several games to take additional pictures myself, and designing the book using Adobe InDesign. The project took over 30 hours to complete and was a meaningful way to contribute to the team’s season.

MRAA (Marine Retailers of the Americas)

I’ve had the pleasure of working with the MRAA team for over 25 years, both during my time as an Art Director at EPG Media and now as a freelance designer. Most recently, I’ve worked with them on a wide range of projects, including a digital Boat Show Guide, a full-page Marine Certification ad, a digital Guide to Navigating 2024, and a 300-slide training PowerPoint presentation accompanied by a 124-page workbook.

Innotek Corporation

Working within Innotek’s established brand guidelines, I’ve supported their marketing efforts through product photography, flyer design, and trade show banners.

NMLA (National Marine Lenders Association)

I’ve had the pleasure of working with NMLA for several years on their Annual Statistical Survey, a digital report that can span over 70 pages and include more than 60 graphs. Each year, the report is exported to Excel, where I create custom, easy-to-understand graphs that align with the overall design. The layout is refreshed annually to keep the presentation current and engaging.
